The plethora of 'total rewards' benefits continues, yet this is the worst decade on pay for 200 years. The UK is one of the most unequal countries with one of the largest gender pay gaps in the OECD. So should we refocus our reward strategies to:

  • Return to pay increases and pay progression after pay anorexia
  • Develop from within rather than buying in talent
  • Link pay at the top and the bottom
  • Benefits: focus on truly flexible flexible working, mental health and financial wellbeing
