Previously Angela was Group People Director at Which?, The Consumers Association the largest independent consumer body in the UK with more than 1.3m members and supporters leading the organisational and digital transformation. Prior to this Angela was Group SVP/Director, Human Resources for Sodexo responsible for the delivery of all HR Services to Sodexo’s 420,000 employees operating in 80 Countries globally, delivering quality of life services to clients and customers at some 32,000 locations in the corporate, healthcare, education, leisure, energy and resources, justice, and defence sectors across the world and serving 75 million consumers on a daily basis. Angela also played a key role in the ongoing global transformation of the Group.

Prior to this role Angela spent three years as People and Governance Director/SVP for British Gas, part of the Centrica Group (a FTSE 30 PLC) across the UK, India and South Africa. Previously Angela spent five years as Group Human Resources Director for the Land Securities Group plc. the UK’s leading property investment, property management and development company (a FTSE 50 Company).

Angela has also held roles as European HR Director for Electronic Arts Ltd; COO and SVP of HR and Organisational Development for the successful pan-European start up and IPO dot.com QXL Ricardo plc., European HR and Training Manager for the Walt Disney Company Ltd; Training and Development Manager for B.H. Blackwell Ltd in Oxford and New York, and HR Executive with Esso Petroleum Co. Ltd (Now ExxonMobil).

Angela is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee with Sovereign Housing Ltd (one of the leading providers of supported housing in the UK) and Chairman of Curo Compensation Ltd (a PE backed reward SaaS technology provider to a range of global clients). She has also held Non-Executive Director roles with Central and Cecil Housing Trust (for 9 years); First Care Ltd (independent Director until its sale) a provider of first day absence and wellbeing solutions; Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust and the Energy and Utility Skills Board.

Angela has extensive experience of global change, as well as leadership and membership of remuneration, audit and nominations committees. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development; the Institute of Directors, and the Institute of Leadership and Management. Angela has won awards for her work on diversity and inclusion, change and transformation and brand impact.
